How many pictures do we get?

You'll always receive all the successful images from me. For a wedding reportage, that's usually around 100 photos per hour. For a photoshoot, I'm happy to take more. This way, you can pick your favorites, and you're sure to always have your new favorite shot among them.

What is the booking process and how does it work?

For photoshoots, please send me an email with your request, and we'll then find a date and discuss the location together. We can clarify any questions together by email or phone.With a wedding, the process is a bit more comprehensive. You contact me, and if I'm available on your desired date, we'll schedule an initial online meeting. The most important thing is to see if we have the right chemistry. As a photographer, I'll be sharing some very intimate moments with you, and you need to feel comfortable. That's why it's important to me that we're a good fit. This way, we can ensure our ideas align. During this meeting, I'll also get some initial information about your wedding.Once we've said "I do," I'll prepare a written agreement, which also serves as a booking confirmation. This means the date is firmly booked, and we have a contract.I'll be available to you at any time until the wedding, whether you have questions about photography or any other topics that arise. Thanks to my experience, I'm always happy to give tips, be it about processes, service providers, and so on. Through constant contact, we become more familiar with each other, which simply leads to the best photos on the big day.Shortly before the wedding, we will arrange a more detailed call or personal meeting so that we can discuss the details, special features, and procedures.I will be there on time for your wedding to check out the location and start this special day with you in a relaxed manner.

Why is the hourly rate so high?

Although the price is communicated by the hour, the work isn't performed exclusively during that time. A one-hour shoot typically requires 2-3 hours of preparation and follow-up. Editing the images is the most time-consuming factor. When you break all of that down, the price is a perfectly normal hourly rate.

What happens if you are unable to attend the wedding due to illness?

In this case, I have a fantastic network of talented women photographers working in the background. We always act as each other's backup and step in if something goes wrong. Fortunately, I've never had to cancel a wedding.

What happens in bad weather?

Accepted Answer

In case of bad weather, there are always nice, dry alternative locations. If we can find an alternative date with a better weather forecast, that's also possible, subject to prior consultation.Things are a little different at weddings, because rescheduling isn't an option. We take amazing photos despite the rain. Either under cover, under trees, or with a great transparent umbrella, which I'm happy to provide.In general, wonderful photos and memories can be created in any weather.

What happens if I have to cancel a booked order?

If you cancel the order, a cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made 0-2 days in advance will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 2-14 days in advance will result in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 14-30 days in advance will result in a 10% cancellation fee. If it is possible to find an alternative date and reschedule the order, for which my consent is urgently required, no cancellation fee will be charged. Unless this alternative date is also canceled, the cancellation fees listed here and in the Terms and Conditions apply.

Can we spontaneously extend the shoot or wedding reportage?

Yes, that's usually possible. For shoots, the day is sometimes fully scheduled, so it's not possible to do it spontaneously. For weddings, I usually allow a buffer so you can extend my time. Each additional hour is paid accordingly. You can find the rates in the price overview.

What should we wear to a shoot?

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. However, please avoid flashy patterns and wild color combinations. Natural and earthy colors always work well. Clean shoes should almost be a given. We can also plan outfits together.And to the women: please don't wear lace underwear under your clothes. It almost always shows through.

Will the photos be published?

I won't publish any photos without your consent. I'm usually very happy when I receive the rights to publish them, as this is my calling card and I enjoy sharing my work. So, it always means a lot to me. You probably found me through my Instagram account or were impressed by the pictures on my website. That's exactly why this is so important.This consent may also apply only to certain, selected images.In general, I don't publish photos of children and babies where their faces are fully visible, to protect their privacy. And if a child is included in a photo, the face will definitely be blurred.
